Green Lantern Stel Redesignby ~salvation-series

Alright, so I'm entering this contest over at superheroofthemonth.com, and this month they want redesigns of anybody from the Green Lantern Corps.

Now I don't know how much you know about the Green Lantern Corps, but I must have looked at every Green Lantern that exists and their are some strange ass looking creatures. I must have spent about an hour just trying to pick one that would be cool to redesign, and I finally found this guy here, Stel.

He originally resembled one of those 1950's robots in the movies, and for some reason DC decided to keep that design for awhile. They eventually changed him up a bit, but he still looks a little dated.

So here's my redesign of Stel. While designing him I wanted to make sure he looked like a robot built from alien technology, and hopefully that's what it conveys here.

Thanks! Oh, I think I'll wait until the movie to get a little understanding of The Green Lanterns. That universe is so big, it would be like explaining Star Wars to me.
