Batman Redesign: Jean Valleyby ~salvation-series

Fan Art / Digital Art / Drawings / Books & Novels

Redesign of Jean Paul Valley as Batman. This was so much fun to redesign because of how awful the original costume was. It left a lot of room for improvement and hopefully I accomplished that here. I stuck with the blue and yellow color scheme, but other than that this guy doesn't really look too much like the original.

Looks like "Batman Redesign" by H.R. Giger. Terifficly terrifying. It's like the 'higher level' Predator Rodrigues included in Predators(which I saw as his adding a new Alien/Predator element, continued from AVP:R's adding the Predalien to the mythology.) Similar to Joel Schumaker's 'New Suit' element at the end of his toy co. designed films.

Jean Paul Valley was a member of a secret society dedicated to eradicating evil, after Batman broke his back in the fight with Bane, Valley seemed like a natural replacement for Bruce Wayne and Wayne personally chose Valley to take over as Batman while he recovered.

But Valley's years of mental reconditioning put a strain on his personality to the breaking point. He went totally loony and built himself a suit of armor with claws and razor sharp batarang guns. This all came to a turning point when Valley allowed a minor villain to fall to his death and threw Robin out of the batcave. Once Bruce Wayne finally recovered, the two Batmen battled for the cowl and old Bruce beat the punk fair and square.
